International Protection Agency Inc. is a USA based company which serves the international community whether at home or abroad. It was the physical concept of safety and protection that formed the foundation for IPA and now IPA has evolved into training, manuals, and the promotion of personal awareness. IPA is now forming the following teams – PMT (Protection Management Team), PET (Protection Enforcement Team), PTT (Protection Training Team), PDT (Protection Disaster Team), and PRT (Protection Response Team)

International Protection Agency Inc. has the utmost qualified Team leaders and Instructors worldwide as we utilize the experience from our ex-military, police, firefighters and EMS personnel that would otherwise be forgotten. These men and women provide our company with the backbone to help you, your family and/or business safe and protected. We are fortunate enough to have instructors in the public and private sectors. Our teams training includes unarmed and armed conflict resolution, critical incident management, emergency survival procedures, hostage negotiation and rescue skills, first respondent medicine, electronic security and counter-measures, observational psychology, emergency vehicle operation, surveillance and counter-surveillance, counter-terrorist tactics, interviewing and interrogation skills, live fire drills, crisis management, and emergency procedures and executive and dignitary protocol.While receiving the training is important, maintaining the training through practice is critical. Our "down time" is not really down time at all. We maintain our emergency readiness by constantly seeking to improve our skills. In the classroom, on the range and on the street, we are striving for perfection. We spend on average, eighty to one hundred hours per year on refresher and classroom instruction, devoting no less than 8 hrs per week to maintaining our tactical skills.

Description of role:

As a leader in the risk management services industry, IPA offers opportunities for qualified people who want to grow in our high performance organization. The Director, Crisis Management & Training, IPA provides global strategic direction, facilitation, support and infrastructure for Crisis Management and Emergency Response (CM/ER). This position is also accountable for developing a diverse training program to implement and achieve an effective and efficient Security Function in IPA. This position reports to the Chief Security Officer, IPA.


Responsibilities include development and maintenance of the Regional Crisis Management Teams and Support Plans, planning and execution of training and exercises for operations in regions, assistance in CMT assessments, plan development and review, and provides consultation on the staffing and maintenance of the   Crisis Teams.


Other responsibilities include support for Business Continuity, Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Planning efforts in the regions. Approximately 35% travel required.

Responsibilities :

    * Deliver a consistent CM/ER approach across Divisions and Regions by developing and maintaining the   Crisis Management Framework
    * Development of strategic direction for Regional CM/ER
    * Develop and maintain the Regional Support Plan and review of Country, Division, Function and Facility plans consistent with regional requirements
    * Personal development of CM/ER staff
    * Succession Planning for CM/ER staff
    * Develop the framework and architecture for the Crisis Management and Security Function training programs.
    * Represents IPA with Governmental Crisis agencies and Trade Associations
    * To develop benchmarking capabilities of crisis management programs.
    * Develop budgetary requirements and ability to meet targets.
    * Knowledge and abilities with regard to contract management to include procurement of consulting services, performance measurement, level of service agreements and financial benefit analysis.

SMT Investigator – CIS

Description of role:  

Position Overview: Corporate Investigation Services (CIS) is a cross enterprise investigator of criminal activity related to products, services and information. Senior Investigators are industry professionals that have their roots in various branches of law enforcement. The balance of the team contribute diverse areas of expertise to investigate suspicious activity, gather evidence, build cases and pursue asset recovery and/or litigation against those who would victimize the company and its clients. CIS works in co-operation with other Institutions and law enforcement globally to trail criminals wherever their activities may lead.

As Investigator, you will:

    * Conduct and lead complex, confidential, cross-platform investigations with a particular focus on asset recovery and loss prevention as well as intelligence gathering and criminal prosecution of offenders in appropriate cases
    * Earn the respect of internal partners for knowledge applied and professional and balanced approach to investigations
    * Advise CIS senior management of fraud issues, significant control weaknesses or deficiencies and trends identified during investigations using standardized reporting in a timely manner
    * Attend court and provide expert evidence on behalf of the company when required.
    * Update and maintain paper and electronic files ensuring accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness
    * Develop and maintain an extensive network of internal partners and external peers in the industry, police and other authorities to ensure a consistent approach to the detection and investigation of criminal activity against the company

Working Conditions

    * The position requires 24/7 availability.
    * The position is largely office-based. The nature of the position requires the ability to incorporate financial crime investigative procedures within the framework of a financial institution. This task involves processing large amounts of information, and an ability to make sound decisions within tight time frames. Self-discipline, experienced and mature judgment, attention to detail and the ability to work under volume and time pressures are essential.
    * The position requires dealing with known criminals and persons suspected of criminal offences.
    * Travel is expected. Interviews are conducted both onsite and offsite with witnesses, suspects and other persons connected to events. There may be limited travel, nationally and internationally for specific investigations.
    * The position requires the attendance at meetings with internal and external clients, and briefing executive and senior management.
    * In general, the position requires a significant and sustained mental and physical effort, often resulting in extended working hours. The position can be very stressful unless properly self-managed.

SMT Security Specialist

Description of role:  
The Security Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of security consulting services to the end-client. This will include interfacing with end-clients to understand their security requirements, assessing the security posture and providing recommendations.

The position will require primary and secondary research and data gathering, delivering Vulnerability Assessments and Threat and Risk Assessments as well as conducting Security Reviews and Audits as well as written reports for clients.
